North Italia Pi Day at SXSW
To celebrate Pi Day on 3.14 — and showcase North Italia’s limited time offering of unique pizzas at each location across the country — we put together a literal stunt show that pizza fans would remember for a lifetime. For the two days leading up to Pi Day, DoorDash delivery drivers on branded Vespas and street teams took to handing out free pizzas to SXSW attendees across downtown Austin, conveniently near one of the North Italia locations. Along with the free pizzas we promoted the Pi Day event which drew lines around the block for people excited to see a stunt show, get permanent pizza-themed tattoos, and of course sample some of North’s best pizzas.
